●26-HN-47 Kaishi Plate Marble

Hanako Nakazato creates pottery between her two studios in Karatsu, Japan, and Maine, USA.
The sense of open space in her work invites us to reflect on and take pleasure in our everyday lives.

A kaishi plate with flowing marbling in deep brown and white. Layers of lines enliven even this small surface, making it ideal for Japanese sweets or a single bite.
